Jane Fraleigh, AMFT

Introduction
Jane is currently completing her master’s degree in marriage and family therapy (MSMFT) at
Northwestern University. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Smith
College and her MBA from Dartmouth College. Jane held positions in marketing at a Fortune 50
company and worked as an executive recruiter before staying home to raise her now four
young adults. Jane has been actively involved with her colleges and her community. In her free
time, she plays golf and electric guitar. She brings a plethora of skills and experiences to bear on
her role as a therapist.

Therapy Approach
Jane is compassionate and energetic. She strives to create a strong connection with clients,
where they can feel safe and supported to utilize their own inherent strengths to solve
challenges that are holding them back in life. Jane’s style is genuine and collaborative and she’s
open to feedback throughout the process of therapy. She applies an integrative systemic
approach to therapy, which includes examining all facets of life, including relationships, family,
community, and culture that intersect to influence who we are. Her intention is to provide
support to her clients, with the goal of empowering them to apply new approaches to handling
life. Jane employs appropriate interventions pulled from Solution-Focused, Narrative and
Acceptance and Commitment therapies to help guide clients towards productive solutions to
improve their quality of life.
