Fradine Kipnis received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago and obtained her Masters in Community Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.
Fradine has experience working with children, teenagers and adults presenting with a variety of symptoms. She has worked in multiple clinical settings including private practice, universities and hospitals. In addition to her therapy skills, Fradine is comfortable incorporating into her treatment plan an assortment of assessments and inventories that she administers and interprets for additional clinical information when needed.
Fradine’s clinical interests include: depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, marital distress, self-esteem, life coaching, life transitions, suicidal ideation, career counseling, stress, divorce, codependency, grief and women’s issues.
Fradine is truly passionate about helping individuals, as well as couples and families to get to a better place in their lives. She applies the most effective counseling techniques offered through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as others that bring evidenced based results. Realizing that every person, couple or family is unique and requires a custom treatment plan, she will incorporate what is best for your specific situation. Fradine also utilizes techniques from Person Centered Therapy, Parts Therapy, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, Solution Focused and Emotionally Focused Therapy, when appropriate with her patients.
Fradine will work together with you on empowering you at your pace, while providing a warm, genuine, nonjudgmental atmosphere where you can feel free to share whatever thoughts you have. In doing so, she will do her best to guide you toward wellness, happiness, peace and conflict resolution while bringing hope back to your life.
