Kenneth Massa, BS

Kenneth Massa received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kean University in New Jersey. He is currently a third-year graduate student at National Louis University, earning his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Prior to this, he spent a decade working in inpatient facilities alongside treatment teams to help ensure the safety and treatment quality of clients as they
navigated challenges across the spectrum of mental health. Here he learned compassion towards clients at difficult or vulnerable periods of life, which he combines with training acquired so far in his current educational program.

Therapy Approach:
Kenneth utilizes person-centered based active listening combined with psychodynamic
approaches towards understanding and responding to the internal and external challenges faced
by clients. He strongly values the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative way to dignify and empower
clients to achieve adaptive methods of exploring their own lives.
